NewsIt was a very good turnout for the first Special Competiton Training Day held at the Honbu Dojo in New Lynn, on Saturday 12th April.
The training sessions were aimed at those who have not entered a tournament before or have only entered one or two. We explained how tournaments are run by Karate New Zealand, the basic rules as well as a mock tournament for practice rounds.
We are very grateful to our Dan Grade members who helped our Senseis with scoring and coaching. And thank you to Sensei Beaty for arranging the lunchroom and packed lunches.
We would also like to express our appreciation to the other students for their understanding as the usual Saturday class was cancelled for this event.
