NewsThis event was organised by Karate Auckland and Jyoshinmon had 10 competitors from New Lynn and Manurewa Dojos participating at the tournament, which was held at the Auckland Netball Centre Stadium on Sunday 9th March.
The new Auckland Karate League will have 4 rounds this year culminating in the Auckland Grand Champions in September.
For about half of the Jyoshinmon team this was their first tournament, and it was great to see their effort and improvement from training.
We want to thank the parents, family, friends and other Jyoshinmon members who came to support our competitors, which is always most appreciated!
It was great to see Sensei Jason Ng, who has been recovering from surgery, as well as Shihan David Bennett and Sensei Beaty Bennett also attended the event.
And to our Coaches - Sensei Chris Bennett, Sensei Bruce Sabine, Sensei Ross Sabine and Sensei Jojina Bennett.
