First Jyoshinmon Interclub Day for 2017 with good attendance by members from all 3 Dojos in Auckland. The event started with kata training and explaination the rules for competitor in a kata tournament, such as bowing before and after performing a kata.
The Shodans did the judging in the mini kata tournament, under the guidance of Sensei Jason Ng who is a Karate New Zealand National Referee in Kata and Kumite. Sensei Darren Blomfield also assisted with the running of the tournament. The Black Belts who helped during the Interclub Day were - Senpai Sevita Sabine, Senpai Jojina Scott, Senpai Jose Castillo, Senpai Bruce Sabine, Senpai Ross Sabine and Senpai Sian Scott.
Shihan David Bennett, Sensei Beaty Bennett and Sensei Chris Bennett would like to thank everyone involved in making the day run more smoothly and appreciate the parents for their support.
