Instructor - Sensei Sevita Sabine

Sevita has been training with Jyoshinmon for over 10 years along and has reached Sensei status along with her younger twin brothers - Sensei Bruce Sabine and Sensei Ross Sabine.
She has represented New Zealand at international tournaments and achieved 7th place in the World Karate Federation Ranking when she won the Gold medal at the 2016 Oceania Karate Federation Championships for the Under 21 yrs Kumite Female -68KG category.
The Manurewa Dojo is run by all the Sabine siblings though Sevita had her first baby - Noah - on 17th June 2025, so it will be quite a while till she can return to teaching at their Dojo and to her work as a Nurse.
Congratulations to the new addition to the Jyoshinmon family, Sevita!
