NewsThis event was organised by Karate Auckland and Jyoshinmon had seven competitors participating at the tournament. Held at the Bruce Pulman Arena on Sunday 3rd March.
It was the first tournament for the 2024 Karate New Zealand Event Calendar and our members did very well, especially for those who competed for the first time like Peiyao and Michael, who was very unlucky to just miss out on a Bronze medal.
Siblings Alaura and Victor competed and coaches for our team were – Shihan David Bennet, Sensei Beaty Bennett, Sensei Zak Bennett and Senpai Jojina Bennett. So this was truly a family affair! Thank you to Alaura and Shyvaya for helping as part of the Table Staff, it's very much appreciated!
