NewsKarate New Zealand National and Secondary Schools Championships held over two days at Te Rauparaha Arena in Porirua. A minute's silence was held to pay our respects to Shihan Robbie Smith of New Zealand Wado-Kai, who very sadly passed away on 23rd May 2014 and would have been one of the main Referees at the event.
Jyoshinmon coaches were Shihan David Bennett, Sensei Beaty Bennett, and Sensei Chris Bennett.Sensei Jason Ng was one of the Referees for both Kata and Kumite.
Only a small team this year but still they all got medal placings so a big Well Done! Also a big Thank You to Sian Scott for taking the photos and videos of our team for the gallery.
