NewsThe mid-year Jyoshinmon Party was a very enjoyable event for the senior grades and their families. A wonderful opportunity to come together as a karate family!
Held at the Sake Bar in Epsom where the end of year party for the Black Belt Grades always takes place. It has a great karaorke atmosphere but most importantly the food is great!
There is a special connection with the owner of the restaurant as Nozomu Uehara was the Sensei of David Bennett, who is the current Shihan of Jyoshinmon NZ. Uehara Sensei continues to support the club and sometimes able to attend the gradings.
The club has been going strong since 1971 and continuing to grow, always enjoying the training and social activities.
