Well done to our Jyoshinmon members - Senpai Bruce Laufoli and his twin brother Senpai Ross for their medal placings!
The Auckland Secondary Schools Karate Tournament was organised by Karate Auckland in association with Karate New Zealand. Sensei Jason Ng is the Chairperson of the Auckland and Northland Regional Council, and also one of the National Referees participating at this event for both Kata and Kumite.
Our Coaches were Shihan David Bennett and Sensei Beaty Bennett.
Sensei Chris Bennett helped to run the Sportdata program for recording tournament results and provide technical support. Also assisting as Tournament Officials - Senpai Sevita Laufoli and Senpai Sian Scott. Senpai Jojina Scott was one of the attending Regional Judges for Kata and Kumite.
