The 3rd Interclub Day was very successful and it was good to see students from all three Auckland dojos. The event was focused on Kata and there were two sessions held - each session had a training seminar with Sensei Chris Bennett and assisted by the black belts. This was followed by a practice Kata tournament for aged 12 years and under, which was particularly helpful for those new to competition, and further development for those with more experience.
Shihan David Bennett and Sensei Chante Betham presented certificates for 1st, 2nd and joint 3rd places, as well as for participation.
Thank you to all the parents and volunteers, and the Shodans who helped out with training and judging at the tournaments.
