It is with sadness that we acknowledge the passing away of Shihan Bob Dalton, Chief Instructor of Karatedo Shitoryu New Zealand.
Bob was a pioneer of karate in New Zealand and will be sadly missed. He was a very good personal friend and supporter of Jyoshinmon Shorin-Ryu New Zealand. We trained together on a number of occasions both in Whangarei and Auckland.
A great kata coach, he produced some of New Zealand’s best ever kata competitors. He will always be remembered with respect and as a friend.
Thank you for everything, Bob. Rest in peace...
