From there, they will travel to Kagoshima to attend the 10th Anniversary Memorial Service of Ryuso Hoshu Ikeda, the Founder of Jyoshinmon Shorin‑Ryu Karate‑do.
Ryuso Ikeda established Jyoshinmon in 1969, drawing deeply from the teachings of Kyan Chotoku. His legacy continues to shape our training, our values, and our community.

PRE-GRADING AND GRADING - November/December
Final dates for both Pre‑Grading and Grading will be confirmed once venue bookings are secured.
Students who wish to grade are strongly encouraged to attend the Pre‑Grading session, as it provides essential preparation and assessment.
Please note that Gradings are by invitation only, based on the Senseis’ evaluation of each student’s readiness.
JYOSHINMON BADGES WILL BE ON SALE SOON!
Club badges to be ordered through your Sensei. Cost $25 per badge.
Badges are required to be worn during Gradings and at Tournaments.

Our new Jyoshinmon t-shirts were produced this year with Silver print and trim. Available in Men’s, Women’s and Kid’s sizes.

Kid sizes at $35
There are still some 50th Anniversary t-shirts in Gold print and trim but only available in Kid’s sizes at $25.
